Blindness is Catching

I’m constantly amazed at how blinded people can let themselves be, when the truth is so very accessible.

I posted some videos on YouTube this year explaining some of the evidences supporting the truth of scripture versus world philosophies like evolutionary materialism. The responses that I received were, in many cases, quite emotional and irrational. By people who see themselves as following logic. I’m not afraid to look hard at the evidence, both for and against the claims of Jesus Christ. The truth, if its really the truth, will stand up under whatever scrutiny I can subject it to.

But the god of this world has indeed blinded the eyes of many. Many of those who frequent YouTube seem content in their blindness. Without a great revival, I fear that most will come to a bad end. The world very much needs our prayers.

The Lost Tomb of Jesus: by which God are you motivated?

Jesus' Tomb?In its new production, “The Lost Tomb of Jesus”, the Discovery Channel is preparing to air evidence from those who claim to have uncovered the final resting place (and bones) of Jesus Christ.

Could these claims really be credible?

Let’s be clear. Were these claims to be proven, it would show that the disciples of Jesus:

1. Perpetrated the most elaborate and cruel hoax in all of history.

2. That most of them died incredibly painful deaths for this “story”, deaths that they could have easily avoided by simply denying the tale.

3. That the brother of Jesus, James, was in on the conspiracy and also was killed without giving up the tale.

This story, if true, would obviously show the hopes of millions of believers to be a false hope. As the Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15:

If Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith. More than that, we are then found to be false witnesses about God, for we have testified about God that he raised Christ from the dead.  If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins. Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost. If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all men. But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead (NIV)

But does “The Lost Tomb of Jesus” really present a credible story?

Storm Warnings – Off-Shoring to Degrade Living Standards

In business, there has been a huge trend towards the off-shoring of human resources. While most ofStorm Warning us have been impacted in some way by off-shoring, this was likely only a foreshadow of what’s to come; the practice is now poised to blow through the economies of the western world like Katrina blew through New Orleans and Mississippi.

Manufacturing is being shipped wholesale to China, as domestic labor cannot hope to compete against the near slave-wages of the workers provided by the communist nation. And the communists there are apparently using the tremendous profit windfalls to fund an unprecedented military modernization program. One might ask, against what enemy are they arming?
